Lancaster, PA - January 13th - 17th

Hello everyone :)

Well my time here in Pennsylvania is over for now, but we will be coming back our last week of outreach.

It was SO good to be back at my home church working with them and other churches in the area. Seeing my Pastors again and other long time friends. This place is definitely a second home for me. I love it so much.

We arrived Wednesday night and immediately did my churches youth group service. It was so awesome. I have never seen such a fired up, Jesus lovin, passionate group of kids in a Youth Group. Youth are coming alive Hallelujah! Kids are recognizing and stepping into the destiny and purpose God has for them. All we did was Worship the Lord for a couple hours and dwelled in His presence. So, so good. The Spirit was crazy thick too holy cow. Very encouraging to see that kind of stuff.

Thursday we worked with a church called Mt. Joy and their youth/community outreach center I guess you could call it that. Anyways, we were just hanging out with the kids from the community. Playin ball and shootin pool. We were able to do our program and my buddy Randy gave his testimony and word for them. As a team we really felt like God wanted to press these kids destiny and callings. Randy finished His word and you could feel God's presence it was so thick. We invited the kids up for prayer but nobody was coming. In my head I was thinking "You gotta be kidding me." How can anyone be in a room and recognize and feel God's presence and not do anything about it?! Keith, my outreach leader, came up and challenged them again. Finally one guy stood up and came for prayer. As soon as he did, the entire group of kids came. 40+ kids. Breakthrough, don't yah love it? :) We prayed for all of them, individually and in groups. In all I think about 9 kids gave their hearts to the Lord. God is amazing. Something is happening. Something is about to start, I'm not sure what it is or what it looks like. But people are seeing Jesus, and they know they can NOT live without Him. I don't ever remember hearing about stuff like this. It's happening alot more often now.

Friday. Mmm, oh Friday :). God gave me a gift. You see the reason I started playing bass was for jazz. Jazz is my passion and I love it. For so long I have wanted to go to a jazz club. Just sittin there listening to the music, I could do it for hours. In Boston, Randy and I were talkin and wishin that we could go to a jazz club one day. Friday, God gave it to us. :) Not technically a jazz club though. We were working with a church/ministry called Arbor Place. It came out of The Lords House of Prayer, my church. The pastor is really trying to bring change into the community where they are located. So he had a vision of a cafe type thing where bands, specifically jazz, will come and play for the community. We were invited to come out and chill with the families and kids from that community. Then the jazz began... :) Oh. My. Goodness. For an hour straight there was a smile from ear to ear. Listening to these INCREDIBLE musicians just play together. It was their first time playing together, crazy right? Playin Ray Charles and some Coltrane. But also jamming just as a band. The whole time God kept telling me "This is for you Aaron, this is a gift for you." Started crying a little because I got a new revelation of His love for me. The simplest thing that I really hadn't even prayed for, God gave it to me. My whole heart has been to serve Him on this outreach. For Him to give something back, just because He loves me and knows that this brings joy to MY heart, is amazing. Guys, God loves us. So much. He is so good to us. So good to me. I just want to bring joy to HIS heart because He deserves it. And He gives me a gift that brings ME joy. I can't wrap my mind around the amazing-ness of God, of my Father. After the jazz band was done we were able to do our program, kind of a weird transition but God showed up none-the-less. We were able to minister to the few people that were there and share God's heart for them. What a night :)

Saturday we joined the Hispanic/Latino congregation at my church. They led worship which was awesome. I forgot how crazy Hispanics are in worship! Talk about a party with the Lord! We did our program. My buddy Paul gave his message which was freaking annointed, and we prayed for people. :) It was cool, a little boy named Jeff came up with his parents. He has asthma and dry cough all the time and the doctors don't really know what's going on with him. They give him meds but nothing really helps. So I prayed for him. As a SOW team we have been believing for signs and wonders, miracles. Ever since we have been asking for it more and more people have been coming for prayer for healing. I start praying for Jeff and my hands and head heat up. Almost like a furnace it was so hot. But it was crazy, he was looking at me but he was seeing something else. Jeff was touching my hands but he wasn't touching MY hands. You know what I mean? He saw and felt something else. Right then I couldn't really tell if he was healed or not but I told his parents to tell their pastor if they see improvement and healing. I believe God is healing Jeff. But Jeff has a gift to see into the things UNseen.

Sunday, this morning, we were at the Mt. Joy main church. We were able to lead worship for the congregation. Jay Frey is the pastor. Such a good friend and an excellent preacher. The worship time was so good. It was funny, sound check sounded absolutely horrible, but when we started it sounded heavenly haha. God was hanging out with us and the church was really blessed. Jay had a vision of me on a beach and I was leaning up against this pole just looking out on the ocean. I wanted to go into the ocean but I was at peace where I was. He said there's 15 different things I wanna do but where I'm at, i'm at peace. Resting on that pole is where I wanna be right now. That really spoke to my heart. God is directing my steps.

Tonight we're going to the Quarryville church to do their Youth service, but the whole church is invited. I'm excited to see what happens. They say they love worship. Which brings a smile to my face because I do too. God is going to show up, there's gunna be deliverance, healings, prophetic words crazy stuff hallelujah!

We leave tomorrow for Rhode Island. Excited for that.

Ok, done typing for now. Just wrote a whole book. Goodness. I'll probably be writing again mid-week or next weekend.

Thank you all for your prayers. Please keep praying for me and my team :)

- Aaron
