Boston - January 5th - 8th

So, we made it to Boston hallelujah. It's been amazing so far. We are in Dorchester right now. Apparently it's one of the many ghettos of Boston? I think it's ballin. Really old district at a really old church. Love outreach.

We're workin with YWAM Boston, they're a pretty new base. They focus on creative arts and performance. Good stuff. Their main focus is friendship evangelism. Goin out on the streets and just tellin people about Jesus. From the statistics that Doug, the director here, has told us it's been really effective. 3000 people have come to Christ in 3 years just out on the streets. Praise the Lord.

In the mornings we have a classroom time, I guess you could call it that. We have been learning about the history of Boston and it's been so eye opening to me. The history here is so rich and full of God. It's crazy! The stories of evangelists comin here and their main focus was to reach the Native American Indians. Stuff we don't here in school at all. Guy names John Eliot. Guys, if this man hadn't obeyed God and went out in faith like He did, we as Americans would NOT be here today. It's ridiculous. Too much to type, so google him. :)

The reason Boston was founded was for raising up ministers, evangelists, missionaries and pastors to send to the world. Many stories of missionaries impacting different parts of the world have come from here. They were trained here and sent out from here. Nuts right? I NEVER knew this! This area was so saturated with God. Everything was built on His principles and the word. We know Boston as one of the most liberal places in America now.

There has been such an urgency in my spirit for this place. First day we arrived I was havin a quiet time and I opened to Psalm 6. It's David crying out to God for help. For restoration of His spirit. David was worn out pretty much. His cry was Restoration. Our times in class the point of teaching has been restoration for this area. That Boston would return to its purpose and call. Whenever I think about why the Pilgrims even came here. They came for freedom, but they also came to reach out to the Indians. My heart jumps. I so believe God is going to move through this area again. I believe revival will start, very soon. I believe the hearts are prepared. People are searching, they may not admit it but they are. Being out in the city talkin to people, they are so independent but it's just a front. I can like feel this area crying out for restoration. And it's coming.

God is already opening doors in huge ways. Boston city has around 250,000 students. Harvard was started as a Seminary type school. To raise up evangelists and missionaries. They now call themselves an "educational" school. Bull. Their heritage is Christ. Their heritage is reaching the NATIONS! They will return to their original purpose I believe it with all my heart.

China sends thousands and thousands of students to this area to be further trained in their skills. 1 in 6 of the students they send commit suicide. China sees the situation and they have decided to do something about it. The GOVERNMENT of China, the Government, has asked YWAM Boston to do a seminar in april on self worth and value. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Dude, God is so amazing! These 20 staff here out of their obedience have seen God move in HUGE ways now. Favor of the Lord is so on this base.

Ok, i'm done typin now. We go out to the Commons park in the city. The place where "Sinners in the hand of an Angry God" was preached. Awesome. We'll be doin our drama and worshippin the King out there.

I'll try and post in a few more days. WiFi is kinda scarce. That's ok. Alright, be prayin for us :)
